Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation by guests:
Any cancellation should be referred to Paloma Cruise sales office in writing by email and must follow these below terms:
Charter/Sharing from 1 to 5 cabins:
30 days before check-in: No charge
From 29 days to 15 days before check-in: 25% of total charge
From 14 days to 7 days before check-in: 50% of total charge
From 7 days to 3 days before check-in: 75% of total charge
Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: Full charge
No-Show: Full charge
Charter/Sharing from 5 to 10 cabins:
More than 30 days before check-in: No charge
From 30 days to 15 days before check-in: 25% of total charge
From 14 to 7 days prior to check-in: 50% of total charge
From 7 days to 72 hours prior to check-in: 75% of total charge
Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: Full charge
No-Show: Full charge
2. Cancellation by Paloma Cruise:
We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as: wars, civil strike, natural disasters, terrorism or order from the Local Authority…etc.
We have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of tourists and following policies will be applied:
If the cancellation is informed before leaving from Hanoi to Halong Bay and guests do not use any service yet: 100% refund.
If the cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip…etc.): Only the actual fees of these services will be charged and we will refund whole remained amount.
If the cancellation is informed before 8:00 AM, the trip is cut down from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
If the cancellation is informed when the guest already spent 1st night + 2nd day activities until 3:00-5:00pm will be charged 75% of 3 days 2 nights package.
All cancellations are ONLY announced by Quang Ninh Local Port Authority and we often receive the notice in a very short time before departure. Therefore your understandings in these situations are really appreciated.
3. Notices:
We provide round trip shuttle bus service (Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi) at an extra charge. Please contact us for reservation or more information of the service.
Compulsory surcharge for Occasional Events including Christmas Eve (24th Dec), New Year Eve (31st Dec) and Vietnam Tet Holiday.
24 hours in advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number/ ID number, and visa expiry date for all passengers. Upon check-in on board, guests are required to present a valid passport or ID.
Children, whose travel documents are attached onto the parents’ passport, must be accompanied by their parents.
Kindly inform the cruise at least a week before departure if you have any special food requirements (e.g. vegetarian, vegan…).
Cruise itineraries and schedules are subject to change depending on the weather, operating conditions and from the Local Port Authority.
Children Policy
Under 4 years old sharing cabin with parents: Free of charge for 1st child, from 2nd child: 25% of adult's charge.
From 4 to under 11 years old sharing cabin with parents: 75% of adult’s charge.
